Selling flowers, while teaching girls grades 5-12 about business and produce.
About Us
We sell fresh flower bouquets, designed and hand styled to make the most beautiful center piece for any table. We are made up of about 25 girls from grades 5-12. Our main goal is to create a thriving business that will last many years, while also learning about growing different flowers, marketing skills, and managing skills. We are run by our members, and even this website was made by girls under grade 12.
Products
We have begun to sell our flowers in bouquets of two sizes: Large ($20) and Small ($10). Recently, we added two other options: another small bouquet just made out of sunflowers, and $2 large sunflowers. We are growing many types of flowers such as sunflowers, zinnias, dahlias, cosmos, calendulas and various others. We accept cash, check and venmo. Where our Revenue Goes
As we continue to sell flowers, our profit will go to 3 things.
-Leadership Activities. Things like boxing, high ropes courses, and others teach us to plan and how to divvy out our money while also having fun.
-Philanthropy. We aim to donate a portion of our money to different charities, both local and out-of-town.
-Upgrades. Finally, we will put our money back into the business, like buying more marketing products, materials for wrapping our bouquets, and we will try to save some for the upcoming years.
